Locating Media

• Go to the SBU University Libraries' homepage
• Click on the Catalog tab
• Click on Advanced Search
• In the drop-down menu to the left of the Search Terms Box, select the search type (Any Field, Author, Title, Subject, Note)
• Then, type in that information in the Search Terms Box (Example: To Kill a Mockingbird)
   
• In the Specific Library Location scrolling menu, select the appropriate SBU library location
• In the Other Format scrolling menu, select the format that you wish to borrow (Example: CD/DVD ROM OR DVD/BLU-RAY)
• Click on Submit at the top of the page
• IF SBU Libraries owns the DVD/CD listing that matches your search, it will be listed on the results page
• Click on the item in the results list that matches your search
• You will be able to view the Location, Call #, and Availability of the item
