ENG 1113 - English Composition I: Finding Articles

Finding Articles in Databases

The databases listed below contain information on several different topics, which is why they are considered multi-disciplinary. Try searching these to get you started. Once you've narrowed down your topic, you can go to the Databases page from the library homepage and find a subject-specific database. A subject-specific database will likely provide more relevant results.

Finding Journals & Magazines by Title

Not sure if University Libraries owns a particular journal or magazine that is relevant to your field of research?  Use A-Z Journal Tracker to see if we currently provide access to that journal or magazine title.

Do you need an article SBU Libraries has no access to?

If the library does not have access to an article that you need for your research, fill out the Interlibrary Loan Request form.
