Paper sizes 8½"x11" and 11"x17" are available in the paper trays of the printer.
12"x18" paper is available in the labeled cabinet near the printer.
White cardstock is also available for purchase from library employees at $0.10 per page. Ask at the front desk.
There are instructions at the bottom of this page for printing on 12"x18" paper or cardstock.
The paper used in the color copier is digital copying paper, 28 lb. & 100% white paper. The Toshiba color printer lays down layers of color during the printing process, so some types of paper designed for laser and jet ink printers should not be used in this color printer.
Any paper that is not purchased through the Hutchens Library should be approved by library employees.
Professional-Grade Color, B&W, & Grayscale Prints
Printing to the Toshiba 4515 AC printer is now self-service and the printer is managed by ITS. Color printing is available to all current SBU students & employees with a valid ID and access to SBU computer services.
Color prints can be sent to "Library Toshiba Studio 4515AC" from any computer on the SBU network, as long as the printer is available on the device. All Hutchens Library computers have the color printer readily available.
Faculty and staff can have the printer added to their computer, allowing them to send their prints directly from their SBU computer. If you need to add this printer, contact the ITS Help Desk at 417-328-1702 and they will assist you.
Students logged in to an SBU computer/using their Print Manager (PaperCut) login are able to pay for these color prints with their student printing account.
Faculty and staff will be charged for the prints via their department's printing budget--whether they are business or personal prints. It is the department's responsibility to seek compensation for their employee's personal prints.
