Meaning in March Madness

With the focus off of football (GO CHIEFS!) and onto college basketball playoffs, it is easy to get wrapped up in the spirit of competition and always being on top.

The Bible reminds us in 1 Corinthians 15:57 "But thanks be to God, who give us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (ESV). During this season of winning and losing, remember that our victory is in the Lord Jesus Christ and we are to "do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves" - Philippians 2:3 (ESV).

Take time this month to enjoy the game - God loves it when we play - but don't forget to give Him praise in the victories and the defeats.
